Sunday Brunch at Home

Sharing is caring!

Good morning.

I woke up early today and wanted to take full advantage of the day ahead. The sun is setting so early lately. I don’t want to miss a moment of daylight. That means getting up when the sun rises, which right now is around 7:30am. It is also the perfect time to take full advantage of the day and not waste one second. That’s why today I wanted to make a Sunday brunch at home.

I hope you all had a great weekend and beginning start to your month of December. Now that it’s getting colder, one of my favorite things to do is to make a Sunday Brunch at home and that’s exactly what I did this morning.

A decadent, scrumptious and indulgent Sunday brunch. It was pretty easy to put together too. I wish I could have this brunch on every Sunday. I probably will have it again next week, and maybe even tomorrow too 🙂

Avocado Toast topped with sunny-side up eggs and a side of bacon. Served with a glass of orange juice and fresh brewed coffee. The perfect thing to enjoy on a sunny, lazy Sunday morning.

This was so good and so easy to make. I cooked the bacon in my beloved cast iron pan. Then I toasted (or really, burnt) the bread in a pan, and cooked the eggs sunny side up as I let the coffee brew in my french press. I’m already dreaming about next Sunday.

It was a really fast brunch to put together, which was great, because I was starving.

It was so good that next time I think I’ll make two!

What are you doing on this Sunday? Maybe cozying up with a good book? How do you like your Sunday brunch and what’s your favorite thing to cook in the morning?
